Mr. Kamal Syal, based in Bangalore, is currently Head – City Logistics at Udaan since June 2016 and he is working in Udaan from initial days which bring a lot of entrepreneurial strategy and extensive B2B trade learnings.
He is heading First Mile and Last Mile logistics for Udaan. He is part of a team which has created an E – commerce solution with exclusive offerings of B2B marketplace model. He works in line with the other departments to build the entire product and process of the supply chain.
Prior to this, he was the Manager – Last Mile at Flipkart and was an Assistant Manager, E – commerce at Gati, where he directly worked with the COO.
He handled the last mile of large appliances (white goods) and opened 34 last miles across 4 zones of India under E-kart and handled third party logistics players with serviceability enablement in 12000 + pin codes. Mr. Kamal has extensive experience in supply chain management and E – Commerce.
