Multidisciplinary National Level E-Conference
One day Online Multidisciplinary National Level E-Conference on “Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Industry, Business, Education & Environment”was organised by Ghanshyamdas Jalan College of Science, Commerce & Arts in association with Department of Commerce, University of Mumbai was held on 26th March, 2022 on Zoom platform.
The conference was graced and inaugurated by the College Managing Committee Members Shri. Vijaykumar Lohiaji – Vice-President, Shri Nirmal Jhunjhuwalaji – Secretary and Shri. Babulal Todiji – Convener, College Committee.
Shri Babulal Todiji in his inaugural address shared his views on how the pandemic had impacted India’s diverse sectors.
The inauguration was soon followed by the address of our Director Academics – Dr. Rajeshwari Ravi, Principal – Dr. Rajeshwary Govindappa, H.O.D. of Department of Commerce, University of Mumbai Dr. Prof. Sangeeta Pawar & Asst. Prof. Sabha Shaikh, Conference Secretary gave a briefing on the conference.
The proceedings started with the Keynote address of Shri. N. Raghuraman – Author & Journalist. The conference was then headed under two technical sessions.
Dr. Prof. Jehangir Bharucha chaired the first technical session in the General & Other disciplines and Dr. Kuldeep Sharma chaired the second technical session in the Commerce, Management & Accountancy discipline, where the research papers were presented by the participants respectively.
The college received a large number of research papers, which were screened for plagiarism and reviewed by members of the Peer Review Committee.
A cash award in each Technical Session was announced for the ‘Best Paper Presenter’ in order to motivate & appreciate their efforts.
All the participants praised the college and the Organizers of the Conference Team for the meticulous execution of the One Day Online Multidisciplinary National Level E-Conference for displaying a spectacular professional image.
