Winners of Maths Quiz Competition
Our Annual Intra-Collegiate Maths Quiz Competition “Pirates of Maths” was organised by the Maths and I.T. Association on Tuesday, 15th March, 2022.
The Quiz Competition was held in the form of a written test with multiple-choice questions worth two points each and a 0.5-point penalty for each incorrect response.
The questions tested mathematical aptitude, logical reasoning, and data interpretation skills.
We were blown away to see so many of our students participate with such zeal, despite the fact that participation in a math quiz is not everyone’s cup of tea.

‘Wisdom Webinar Series’ on “Financial Crime & Frauds” on Zoom on 5th February, 2022.
The resource person for the webinar was Mr. Sachin Dedhia.
Mr. Sachin Dedhia provided an introduction of how financial fraud happens as well as strategies for detecting and combating financial crime. The webinar was incredibly interesting and interactive because it taught our students and audience how to protect themselves from cyber-attacks when using their electronic gadgets. At the same time, the students learned about the employment options that the cyber-crime cell has to offer.

‘Wisdom Webinar Series’ on “Cyber Crime” on Zoom on 24th October, 2020.
The resource person for the webinar was Mr. Jigar Joshi, Cyber Crime Expert.
The webinar was immensely helpful to all the participants as it focused on the protection of all electronic devices from cyber-attacks on business emails, websites and applications, internet banking and digital wallets and debit/credits cards and cyber laws and redressal.
We are confident that our students could utilise the given information by the resource person and ensure that they could avoid any kind of cyber attack on the usage of their electronic device.
At the same time, the students learnt about the career opportunities that are also available with the cyber crime cell.

‘Wisdom Webinar Series –II’ on ‘Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning’ was held on 5th March, 2021 on Zoom.
The resource person for the webinar was Dr. Mahendra Mehta, Managing Director of Neural Technologies & Software Private Limited.
Dr. Mahendra Mehta spoke on Artificial Intelligence & about different attributes of Intelligence like the Capacity of logical interpretation, Problem-solving & Understanding, Self – Awareness & Learning, Emotional intelligence, Reasoning, Planning, Complex use of memory, Creativity, Critical thinking, Sense of perception, etc.
He also explained in detail the concept and working of A.I. & Machine learning with current and future applications.
